ever since i discovered ilsa gold as a young rave boy when i was 14 years old in 1992, i admired their hard analogue sound coupled with the humour musically, conceptually and performatively. when they approached me about releasing their last ever recorded track on DAT called SUPERMARION from 1996, i was awestruck. this is definitely one of their more subtle jests, perhaps even the most solace they have ever provided. a fitting conclusion to an era. evocative, light and fun relief with a hilarious little twist. the perfect last record to be played at the end of every rave night ever. lots of love.[info sheet from distr.]
