Hemingway s debut EP on Cosmic Resonance Records is a musical memoir. The sounds you’ll hear are drawn from projects created as far back as 2011 and as recently as 2017. The music has evolved over the years, from yacht-funk playfulness to the exploration of cosmic jazz. One constant throughout, though, has been a reverence and love for the dance floor and dance music culture. To bring this broad spectrum of musical creativity together, Hemingway enlisted the help of his longtime friend (and now label-mate), Chris Evans, to weave improvised guitar unicorns (guitarnicorns) throughout. The result is an album that fuses jazz, funk, disco, balearica, pysch-rock and Amazonian spirituality into a cosmically resonant vibe.
