Fleck E.S.C has been doggedly flaunting his wares in the electronic underground for some time, with a mammoth back catalogue of robotic machine soul across low key digital labels as well as the likes of Electrix and Central Processing Unit. Now he glides over to Untitled Recs with some especially dynamic cuts that balance tricksy programming and the rudeness of electro funk with a more fluttering electronica sensibility that's heavy on emotion. Just check "Free Play" with its gorgeous interplay of varying synth tones locked into a melodious funk. There's a variety in grooves to be enjoyed here too, including the stepping stutter of "Skins & Scales" and the fractured patterns of the title track
