Hailing originally from Japan but now operating out of Ontario, Canada, this is Ms Onos debut release, and she certainly proves her credentials on this clean, sharp but funky fusion of dubstep techno and electro. Kuro Shinju is abstract and oblique but crisply funky, whilst the flipside Moon is not unlike the Japanese art of Ikebana where the spaces in between are just as important as what fills them. Precision cut clarity.
