A Colourful Storm inaugurates its vinyl label with a reissue of a long lost Oz classic. Formed by Brian Hall in 1982, Denial originally appeared on the legendary M Squared label, home to industrial and wave outfits Systematics, SPK, Scattered Order and The Makers Of The Dead Travel Fast. Until now, Hall s own work has only surfaced once - in 2012, under his Aural Indifference moniker on the Minimal Wave Tapes Volume Two compilation. Here, Denial s version of the Mamas and Papas classic, and melancholy The Weatherman are presented in their original format and deservedly remastered. A Colourful Storm is a label co-run by Moopie, who contributed the second mix CD for Silent Servant s Jealous God imprint.
