to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the agency, rotate has a hefty 2xlp compilation coming, featuring its in-house artists as a follow-up to “rotations i” from 2016. in the meantime, the imprint prepared a 10- split-ep teaser, appropriately named “mini rotations i”, featuring cleymoore and loopdeville.

the continuum hypothesis by cleymoore and andrea cichecki stood proud as rotate s first collaborational ep, and despite being the imprint s first attempt on showcasing its roster through talent fusion, it served perfectly as a refined and spontaneous creation where both artists could easily be heard and identified. rotate s curatorial decisions seem to consistently circle around a small but extremely talent- ed group of young artists who aren t afraid of musical experimentation, with command of very personal visions of futuristic dance music, no matter the style. for the second collabora- tional ep, rotate hand-picked two young artists that share a strong vision about music, how it should be created and ultimately, experienced: greece s anestie gomez, and russia s denis kaznacheev.

after showcasing individual talents in its first compilation, rotate’s second release opens the co-working space and begins a series of releases with the sole objective of engaging its in-house artists in spontaneous collaborations and collective thinking.

rotate’s first release as a vinyl imprint comes as a collective sonic statement of seven chapters. with tracks from all the music crafters of the family, rotate starts the year with steady momentum, in a collection of different-yet-unified sound that combines wit, fresh attitude and unique musical signatures.
