following the cd release earlier this year, the rio edits series is back, now based in brazil the 9th instalment is a tribute to the late, great ayrton senna. laced with latin flavour this release is rio at its very best!

the rio label has a lot planned for the coming months, with two separate compilation cds - special edits volume 1 & 2. but, first up is the rio007 12 inch to kick start the proceedings. rio007 is a cool samba funk record that oozes rios trademark sound.

1st on side a: big disco boogie re-edited, kicks off with guitar riff building up with female vocal, filtered breaks then comes into main vocal parts.
2nd tune on side a: summery disco with breezing feel, uptempo percussion intro, funky boogie riff into catchy horn section with leads synth… one for the beach session!
1st on side b: mighty disco edit. after the first break the tune really kicks into funky groove with strong female vocal with infectious chorus. keep your attention high!
2nd tune on side b: slowly build up track with big synth lead brings >oh baby< chorus, it holds groovy riff all the way through.
