limited edition - clear vinyl 300 copies - amplified people is a personal story vision of pop with electronic music proposals. not dj nor clubber, frederic verdier didn’t live if the first free parties experiences nor dancefloor revelations, he’s only under vinyls and cds effect. his meeting with krikor and the netlabel valiza tools gives him a chance to appear on the collector cd >musique jetable< and then to release its first ep “tough guys don’t dance” in 2004. one year later he meets up the label od records which produces its second ep >ford capri< in rather minimal-house mood. on this same label, house of dick voodoo, ascii disco, heko, and mondwest, amplified people is now more influenced by club and mental. he releases its third ep >cannon jack<, masterised by laurent ho

french artist based in paris. this prolific musician gets noticed by the od records label that has produced his 2nd ep in 2006 mixing in all his productions influences from the 80s, 90s and 2000s through cheap but stylish synth sounds, melodies that underlie a certain sense of tragic and his own gimmicks, he builds tracks socked in old school house, minimal and electropop that immerse us in a cold, sensitive and personal ambiance.
