superb collection of early 90s underground deep house classics by the legendary dub maestro mk. first up is the hard-to-find remix of terence trent d arbys >surrender< which takes d arbys soulful vocal and puts some classic mk fire underneath it to create a awesome deep house banger which received heavy rotation both in the clubs and on the airwaves. next we get one of mks best dubs - his brilliant take on the b52s >tell it like it t-i-is<, a chugging house belter which adds a haunting bass and melody to the bands expertly chopped up vocal chants. the flip side keeps up the pressure with the awesome dub mix of betty boos >thing goin on<, another of his finest dub mixes, and lastly the in-demand classic >bicycle dub< of the pet shop boys >can you forgive her<, only ever available as a limited promo but huge on the underground scene.
