The second entry on Dance Data is the debut album by Izapa, who has been a fixture in LA's modular synth community for some time now, so it's a treat to get a glimpse into the sounds he's been honing in his private world. The record showcases his sensibilities for a wide variety of rhythmic structures / styles, from angular hi-tek drum-n-bass to half time electro zoners, there is a little something for anyone that's looking for dance music that prioritizes feel over function (while still retaining the latter).
