Side A ‘Numbers Stations’ finds its inspiration in encrypted shortwave radio used by spies for communication, espionage in the cold war era. Side B ‘Duga 3’ takes its stimulus from the Duga 3 radar used between July 1976 to December 1989 by the Soviet government as an early warning network for oncoming nuclear threats.
