The Shadow Influence is an analogue cosmic ambient opera presented in 5 uninterrupted movements based in Stark’s trip to Titan. This work acts as a prefect continuation for the artist last works for Transient Force, the Fundamentals of Space Travel saga.
The overture is an experimental track that features analogue synth bubbles, an Arpanet influenced melody and a dark chorus called The Shadow Line. Rève Lucide follows with an accurate depicting of an immersion in a metane lake through cold synth waves. Titan’s Cycle reflects Alek Stark’s knowledge of Titan’s hydrological peculiarities, and his attempt to recreate through synthesis how this atmospheric phenomenon would sound. Eye Contact brings back the melody, with a floating synth reminding Namlook-Fax Recs cosmic ambience excursions of the 90´s. Finally, Massive Attractions raw and elliptic 808 rhythm breaks the silence and ends the trip.
