UK upstarts In Fields are on remix duties for "Nesta," and their retake holds close to the spirit of the original while infusing it with a slow-burning energy. They revisit the bass line by way of fork-tongued analog resonant squelch and hone the mix to imbue the track with the gauzy luster of sonic shellac. "Ponciau" takes directions only hinted at in "Nesta" to new extremes. An eerie vox synth throbs plangently front-and-center and subdued tones and crunchy textures contribute palpable atmospherics. Though Luv*Jam inserts a number of extended beatless interludes, when the stormy kick and sweeping string pads re-enter the fray, it only confirms the track's dancefloor efficacy.
