From 0-1 is very proud to issue its 12th overall release- >Catharsis: The Remixes< a 12 inch vinyl mini-comp due out Fall of 2011. This record is a follow up to 2010s >Catharsis: An Outpouring From The Pacific Side of Earth<.

On the A side, we have the much lauded remix of DJ Sodeyama's 'Moyonga ' by resident From 0-1 duo from Vancouver, Canada - The Automatic Message. The Automatic Message was recently brought into the international spotlight working with Chris Liebing's CLR label this year. They issued music videos for CLR releases from Tommy Four Seven, and Brian Black. Their remix of 'Moyonga' is an absolute stunner. Gigantic drums, tough distortion, and an unforgiving pummeling define this masterpiece.
Following up next is the king of space techno - Samuli Kemppi of Helsinki, Finland remixing Bryan Zentz & Let's Go Outside's 'Hethradia'. As you might expect, Samuli (Ostgut Ton, Mote Evolver, Perc Trax) strips Hethradia down to the basics, injects it full of his futuristic space funk and delivers on point. A huge kick, 16th high hats, and funky rhythm drive this piece in only a way Samuli Kemppi could.
Flip the record, and find remixes by Seattle Based From 0-1 resident artists, John Massey and Cyanwave. First out of the gate is John Massey's heavy edit of Sone's 'Bunker'. John elevates the minimal original to new and aggressive heights with a big kick, distorted vocal snippets, and arching pads and textures true to this techno vet's form. John is truly underrated, and one of the most skilled techno producers on the West Coast having worked with Drumcell and the Droid crew in LA as 'Critical' early on during Droid's inception.
Last but not least is Seattle's most sought after dub-techno duo: Cyanwave. Cyanwave take Milkplant's 'Pantycontrol', and reduce it to the bare elements yielding a striking broken beat dub techno affair reminiscent of Rhythm & Sound's productions jacked up for the 21st century. Cyanwave has swept the Pacific Northwest by storm the last several years and show no signs of letting up the pressure any time soon.
