for selfless machines, t.wiltshire has fashioned a collection of intricate cuts on an analogue setup, fusing warm layered atmospheres, meandering synth motifs and dusty drum patterns. nestled comfortably between the living room and the dance floor, selfless machines is an engaging and wily mechanical mistress, hellbent on your attentions. a selection of six original linocut prints will be available, each built around the idea of man’s interwoven relationship with machines. some will be inserts within the vinyl sampler, some will make their way onto the cover.

dixon cites tim hecker, autechre and wolfgang voigt as influences and this ep is as equally diverse. we begin with edge of the universe , an enigmatic techno experiment. tight hats and snare work give it an almost jackin feel whilst subtle bumping subs and cryptic vocal chops decorate throughout.
