ten thousand yen is very proud to announce a new signing - rimbaudian, with this stunner of an ep. we first met him at our party in nitsa, barcelona last summer. we loved his meda fury debut and asked if he’d send some tunes our way. by the time we got home, there was a new folder waiting with about 40 tracks from rimbaudian and a certain dj seinfeld. just about every single one was great, a feat we can assure you never happens. this is easily some of our favourite music right now, and we’re stoked to share it with you!

meda fury presents the debut release of malmö’s armand jakobsson aka rimbaudian. taking his name from the modernist poet, jakobson’s music is a beguiling mixture of thumping house, tripped out rhythmic excursions and blissed out, lattice-like synth melodies.

cheeky bed bugs - marilips: knowing the quality of ruff and raw housey sounds that both fabio monesi and dj octopus are prone to in their tracks, cheeky bed bugs is a collaboration that we have craved for and it comes in a gritty and dancefloor oriented form. starting off as a warm and funky piece, marilips soon goes into a puncher with a moving bassline and a reverbed claps while the main sequence taints it with an ominous feel. the whole track is enveloped in an almost burned texture giving it pretty live sound that will heat your feet in the club. nothing short of a cheeky feel!
