a bold move to cover a daft punk record? perhaps but off msg and vocalist hadi create a respectful update of the oft overlooked romanthony penned finale to daft punks second album. too long is one side of vinyl and 6 minutes of classic infectious house music as uncomplicated as it is effective. sounding not unlike an early marshall jefferson / jungle wonz record. hadis vocal leads the way, underpinned by loose house beats, live tambourine, a when house was discos little brother bass line and analogue disco stabs that punctuate the space. strictly limited to 500 hand stickered, stamped and numbered with no repress. these will not hang around mastered by original two lone swordsman mr keith tenniswood.

two sample laiden edits/ not edits here courtesy of o f f m s g.whos much sought after chicago edit (on mh black) sold out in super quick time. hott - works karen youngs classic hot for you vocal to fantastic effect. it comes off sounding like half vintage master c+j, half early permanent vacation 12inch.theme the result of a todd terry and john talabot jam session. all bouncing house organs and stripped back beat, with a smattering of female new yorkiyan vocal reassuring us..gonna be alright.
2 fresh edits here from mh black. o f f m s g coming with the if carl craig did disco vibe while tee mango brings the slow-mo looseness of a raw cuts release. hand stickered, stamped and numbered with no repress so when theyre gone, theyre gone.a side: sounds distinctly like a stripped back and stretched out rework of roy ayres chicago.b side: works the instantly recognisable piano from rotary connections black gold of the sun.blk001 sold out within the week, i cant imagine these will hang about.
