throw is the 1st track here, which manages to loop a refrain and bass that candy staton anthem, all the while sounding like a forgotten moodymann mpc jam. vocals, skipping snares, a bouncing tambourine & one of the finest bassline ever written (by someone else) compell you to dance. need your love is a heads down sample house jam. itís looping vocal, super tight drums, woozy chord stabs and sirens make it feel like the result of a studio session between a 90ís dubbed out louie vega & man-like switch (before he went feral).
