after a long break due to the work on the new dirt crew album and numerous remixes in the past 2 years break 3000 is back solo with his typical deep trance techno sound we know from his great releases on my best friend and trapez. this 10 minute plus monster is a dark and pumping excursion into the heart of techno. with a massive beat and a hard hitting piano stab the track winds itself through any soundsystem and when the old school 90s strings fall in you can be assured that the crowd goes crazy… on the flip daso proves his skills with an even tighter techno mix of the original. with his latest work for spectral and connaisseur he is on the top of the game and we are very proud to have him on board with this excellent remix, its amongst his best productions to date! loved by dave mothersole, c rock, p toile, sasse, nunos dos santos and many more..

break 3000 and adam kroll take quite some chances in naming their first collaboration 'get down' cause in the golden era of funk and disco every second track that was produced to 'just' get people on the went by this title ( a quick namecheck on allmusic.com confirms close to 300 entries ). well, our two protagonists surely had a few of those blueprints in mind as they clearly quote some of the main characterisitcs - handclaps, pulsating moroder style bassline, extra thick slap bass, robotic voice - mix them up with a few drops of acid, a rough guitar riff plus majestic paino chords and distill everything to a luiquid, sleek state-of-the-art house funker. the flip is more introspective and very atmospheric with darker, moody chords, yet the galloping square bassline and the omnipresent sharp highlight make sure that 'tonite' theres no parking on the dancefloor. when the players arrivea the club...beware

this is the result of break 3000 ( dirt crew ), freestyle man and greg oreck (thugfucker ) hitting their thick necks together and slamming the 303 knobs once more. while a-side track black unitylayers heavy samples, lady cfeatures greg oreck as mc-acid making his debut on moodmusic limited. tracks so furious it sometimes makes you smile, this is a statement from the sewer, this is how we like it to be done. ruff and ready, come on
