after the amazing release from kwartz and hector oaks, we are very pleased to have on vinyl filip xavi, young belgrade artist with a lot of potential, not a newcomer on sonntag morgen. he shows 3 mental, hypnotic and banging tracks ... and to complete the ep we have the honor to have on board dasha rush, with an outstanding remix!

this release shows two of the most important spanish talents of techno: kwartz and hector oaks. not too many words to say, but certainly enough to listen.

after the first part of remixes on mtd tracks, now its time for the second one on tracy track. 3 version of something to believe in 2 made by the dublin duo lakker (stroboscopic artefect, blueprint, killekill) and one made by the mysterious annulled user.

played and supported by lucy, chris liebing, speedy j, dvs1, pfirter, bas mooy and more. sonntag morgen was born from the idea of two young italian dj / producers,tracy and mtd. with this label they want to express a musical style witch is not very popular in italy, based primarily on techno / dub but with influences from dark and spooky sounds combined with melodic and defined rhythms, creating a new refined underground beat.after 19 releases in digital format, they have been shown to produce very high quality.this is the first release on vinyl (their great love.) each of the two labels owners shows a track and a tool. the sound is..solid, dark and dynamic. definitely is a big release of contemporary techno.

the fifth release in this tribute series to the techno legend christian morgenstern is here. side a kicks off with a trippy version of morgenstern’s “spiegelkerker”, by konsequent label chief maral salmassi - a carefully set psychedelic trap, building up gently just to drag you through its tunnelling groove, inside the eye of the hurricane. twr72’s remix of “ex machina” on b1, merges the interlocking samples of the original in a vortex, spiral around the pounding kick, rolling right into the heart of the milky way.the final track, a remastered version of morgenstern’s “girls got rhythm” sets the pace, with a dense groove and pounding beats, accenting a colourful cluster of house elements, with streams of sparkling metallic percussion.

nice price deal !!! titanium is back with a brandnew release! titan103 is a great ep from austrians producer christopher groove who has his first solo release on philipp straubs label titanium. this ep already had a great impact on the market as felix da housecat licenced maximal mnml for his recent global underground compilation milan which was a great success wordwide. maximal mnml is a deep techno tune with soft percussions and a great bassline that makes everybody move. the second track b.o.w. is a real techno bomb with a huge break and succeeded on many dancefloors around the globe, not only due to heavy support from carl cox. to complete the ep philipp straub asked his friend danilo vigorito for a remix and danilo delivered one of his rare and beloved tunes. danilo, who is one of the main protegees of italian techno, formed maximal mnml into a little bit darker structure with a unique atmosphere. all in all a great ep!

the last and eighth release in this series opens up with christian wunschs remix of ex machina on the a-side which is all hypnotic bounce, roaring chords, cutting through the irrepressible groove. morbecks remix of ghost town on a2 is an atmospheric but tough interpretation of the original, kicking hard with jackhammered drums, coupled with metal scraping metal sounds and a simplicity that makes it a handy tool to build great tension on the dance-floor. the b-side kicks off with jonas koppss remix of miscellaneous pt. 1 – creatively pairing the heavy rolling 909 drums with a classic four-on-the-floor clap pattern and topped with the eroded drones of the original track. b2 is a re-mastered version of the utterly timeless and epic club hit “1969” by the mastermind christian morgenstern himself.

the seventh release in this series opens up with dr. shingo’s remix of “malaria” on the a-side - a beautifully crafted downtempo version which skilfully dissolves the techno spirit of the original in crystal-clear electronic soul music with an epic build up. staffan linzatti’s remix of “spiegelkerker” on a2 is a futuristic and minimal interpretation of the original, with a sturdy drum pattern, topped with an alluring blend of bleeps and spaced- out synth tones.the b-side kicks off with stanislav tolkachev’s remix of “the future is on fire pt. 1” - a raw and sinister industrial monster with a bold noize overload.b2 is a remastered version of the classic club hit “the future is on fire pt. 1” by the mastermind christian morgenstern himself.

the sixth release in this series of eight opens up with alexander kowalskis remix of lydia to the edge of panic on the a-side. kowalskis version is a pounding techno monster, with a heaving baseline and delayed chords, hinting at a more sinister dimension beyond the edge of panic. trolly routes (aka. oscar mulero) remix of miscellaneous pt. 7 on a-2, lulls and hypnotizes with an acid-tinged interpretation of the original track, that nods to the plus 8 school of techno. the b-side kicks off with jeff rushins remix of little green apples, pairing the spacious and beautifully gloomy background atmosphere of the original track with a heavier version of its rhythmic framework. the final track gives us the re-mastered original version of confort corpse, which displays christian morgensterns uncanny dedication to exploration and his love for the 80s.

ep number four of this series of eight remastered tracks with remix-tributes to the techno legend christian morgenstern is here, and kicks off with d_funcs remix of steigreider on side a. creating a warm grayscale atmosphere, the track is carried by a heavy sub kick groove thats saturated with the modern industrial energy that proves kowalski’s skills as a techno craftsman. as a contrast, jeroen searchs remix of aces high on b1 is a more minimal interpretation, carried by a slowly developing beat and playing skillfully with the most recognisable elements of the original. the final track, a remastered version of morgensterns lydia to the edge of panic is a timeless classic, painting a morgenstern-typical distant and dream like landscape and opening up into a widescreen chord progression, with an epic build up.

the third release in this series opens up with fanon flowers remix of be good to me on the a-side, and has everything we love about fanons signature sound, an industrial rave-stomper that provides a heavy 909 beat topped with mercilessly propelling chicago-style claps. the b-side kicks off with henning baers remix of visco space saves the world a super trippy and minimal interpretation of the much more heavy original, which was a raw and gloomy industrial monster with a bold noize overload. its progression changes build up neatly but peak in an epic spiral break down that shatters the soul. b2 is a remastered version of herz aus stahl by the mastermind christian morgenstern himself, presenting an upfront, sinister electrofunk monster that attacks with waves of synth menace straight from its metallic robocop-heart.

the second release in this series starts with the heavily supressed and hypnotic energy of efdemin’s spiegelkerker remix on side a. creating a dreamlike atmosphere, the track is carried by a slowly developing beat that keeps you totally engaged as it floats along. as a contrast, psyk’s remix of miscellanous pt.7 on b1, with its classic 909 drum appeal and engrossed pad harmonies, creates a very deep classical vibe worthy of a black dog reference. the final track, a remastered version of morgenstern’s return of the living deaf presents its pleasantly over-funked snare programming and build-ups that forge “true techno” eclecticism and dance floor functionality into one mighty laser sword of a track. limited to 300 copies
