Its house but not as we know it! YOUNG DAVID, aka Dave Young, chose his artist name as a reminder of what it said on his office door before he took some time out in the summer of 2006. Swapping the office for what an estate agent might describe as a cosy basement studio in Stockholm, he now sits around making beats all day The FuJi Ep is musical adventure. Bridging the gap between soulful and minimal and blending crunchy mid-tempo party beats with intoxicating two-tone, jazz and dub flavours. Equally at home on the dance floor, ipod or lounge stereo, the tracks have a sense of space and depth and, above all, a real musicality which comes not (only) from the pushing of a few buttons, but from a lifelong quest
