Once again the three Rotterdam based producers and DJs Danny, Raymon and Kris impress with their very own cozmik blend of tribal music, House and Downbeat. On the Lotus EP, Yor Kultura reveals a more melodic side of their musical realm. Gritty synth lines, strong percussion work and rolling basses invoke the spirits of places not yet discovered. Mysterious vocal samples sing the blues on this journey through various psychedelic worlds. The sultan of Hamam swing Mehmet Aslan, crafts a sublime version of Willow on B2, giving a Turkish twist by adding extra guitars and percussion. 33 & 45rpm playback is tested and highly recommended.
