The title track moves at gentle pace, with metallic reverb breathing above kicks and chordal pulses of bass. 'Squeak' is similar but grittier. As its name suggests, a warped beep dominates the mid-range, skipping around the kitchen-sink percussion. 'Cage' is screw-face club gear. Its jerky, elastic, bassline nods to the heyday of UK funky and sees the producer at his most hostile. It is not without release though, as a lengthy breakdown allows the synths to take centre stage. Final track 'Temperatures' is a return soft to soft layering and restrained arrangement, completing a well-rounded record.
