Following its initial release 4 years ago, which resulted in his most prolific album to date, vbnd returns with a limited edition 4-year anniversary release of his landmark album 'Daughter of the Sun', in white vinyl.

The record features the Saskatoon-based bassist and producers most popular songs; 'Smoke' and the album title 'Daughter of the Sun', which features the delicate smoky vocals and unrivalled songwriter of Katie Tupper, accompanied by the effortless instrumentation of Justice Der, Connor Newton & Simon Jasieniuk. On its original release, the album aimed to cultivate and encourage the growth of the jazz and soul sound in his hometown, Saskatoon, which vbnd showcases from beginning to end, with clear inspirations of the likes of D'Angelo, Jaco Pastorius, Snarky Puppy and more throughout.
Since its release, vbnd's music has gone on to be supported across NPR, CBC, BBCR6, BBCR2, 1XTRA, and has gained over 20m+ streams digitally.
