For its 12th release, the good peeps at Guess Who are dropping the goods with this four track sampler from a fine roster of underground stalwarts. Choice jacking, Chicago and R&B booty flavors as we ve come to expect from the label, with Tommy Largos jazzy saxes and filtered grooves abundant on Need Sum Money, while Buck Nakeds cool Rhodes keys and buzzing bass turn the Tribe Called Quest classic Stressed Out into a smooth deep house affair. Busys Took a Pill is a dirty south hip hop housey joint while Phonograms Really down is a cool party track with R&B vocals galore. Excellent dancefloor and party material here
