Rock music has always been a key part of the Balearic sound and is showcased here by legends The Who and Rod Stewart. Rod's sleazy groove 'Passion' has been revived in recent years by Balearic Mike and Joel Martin in England whilst The Who's 'Eminence Front' has endured popularity in New York via David Mancuso and Larry Levan as well as Ibizan DJs. Jose Padilla's enduring influence is written large in the songs by Jevetta Steele, Malcolm McLaren and Alphonso Johnson - perfect to soundtrack a Café Del Mar sunset.
