Massive trippy techno release by Swedish rising star Van Rivers and it rocks like hell! Van Rivers worked as producer on the debut album of Fever Ray (Karin Dreijer from The Knife) and also tours with her live band. His previous releases on Stockholm LTD and Islands & Islets got big support from Marcel Dettman, Josh Wink, Ryan Elliot, Joey Beltram and this release will surely follow. Stretched Out On Pavement is a deep, punchy and trippy techno piece for the floor as well as the mind, like you may expect from a SD Records release. The Nukubus Remix on the b side takes everything into the pumping techno/electro arena with a soulful, spacey edge to it. Both mixes are spot on and will rock many floors. Big one!
