On the A-side “Ceremony” starts off on a smooth hip hop flavored tip, before brilliantly building bridges to piano driven house. “Gothic” holds tight to hybrid thoughts with its melodically mutant, starry-eyed take on grime. The B-side sees an ever-escalating “Voyeur” balancing a fine line between languid safe havens and the abyss of syncopated chaos. The Phantom affirms he’s in control though, as he steps back a few paces on “Colossus”, and serves funked up, eighties evoking, electronic jams as a discursive ender to this trippy four-tracker.
