After the success of the Re-Edits Vol.1 the Messengers (Kev Beadle & Darren Moss) are back with a couple of peak-time floor fillers for Vol.2. >First Left< is a huge funky fusion bomb that will be sure to move any crowd. Looping up the classic Herbie tune >Just Around The Corner< the boys have added some percussive flavours to give it a summery edge. Side 2 is their rework of Ray Barrettos version of Stevie Wonders >Pastime Paradise<. Extending the intro and giving it an extra little kick the tune builds into the perfect singalong tune for those bbq afternoons and summer nights. Both tracks have already found their way into the cd cases of Gilles Peterson, King Britt, Phil Asher, Rainer Truby, Simbad, Eddy Ramich, Mad Mats, Michael Rutten, Rob Luis, Kay Suzuki,Dom Servini, Souled, Nik Weston, DJ Asparagus and Jonny Miller and getting major support from them all.
