The Groove Brothers, AKA Jef K and Rhythm&Soul, keep things moving with the second release on their fledgling label, On A Mission Records. It’s been seven months since the label’s debut, demonstrating the duo’s considered approach to their outlet, which has been set up to capture the true spirit of house music, basing its ideals on some of the industry’s most respected labels and keeping that timeless, classic ethos alive. This second release unites the label owners with a couple of newcomers to the scene. Retaining the sultry outlook of the first release The Groove Brothers inject jazzy notes and smooth funky rhythms into their music, while Mr KS and Kub follow in a similar vein with their well-crafted contributions.
