From the jacked menace of opener Kreen, a dizzying percussive assault of breakbeats and 808 kicks, its clear that Struction means business. Warrior follows on with deep end breakbeats cut through with melancholic synth washes. The flip side commences with Ai, all skittering percussion, swelling distorted pads and relentless kick drum thrum, while Dolly rounds out the release in fine style, quickening the pulse with its hypnotic FM bass polyrhythms, scything cymbals and icy strings. With this release Struction marks himself as one to watch very closely for the future, as well as once again showing R&Ss commitment to nurturing new talent, as well as releasing the best cutting edge electronic music.
