Opening the four track EP is 'Anthem', a haunting and restless track with house drums underneath wild, untethered synths. Pixel thin and pained, they whip about in edgy ways, swelling then dissipating and always building a dark energy. Second in line, 'Choke' is less direct, instead it wallows in muddy synths, with jumbled hits and claps and alien keys all creeping along in menacing ways. It is tense and unsettling and always on the move.

Continuing on the WT002 side is 'Facemelter', it finds elastic drums, bird calls, scratchy claps and glassy synths all layered up into a loose limbed and weirdly funky number. It's organic yet abstract and really sounds like it lives deep in the woods in which it was made. The second track is 'Tool', a deep and sparse number with smooth acid undulations, icy hi hats and scattered kick drums all making for a vast cavern of sound in which you easily get lost.[info from tv]
