La Vida Sigue Igual’ is immediately a more physical affair than its predecessor, kicking off with the title track, a hard hitting percussive monster. The sparse simplicity of the machine gun synth work & monotone Spanish vocals by Mystic Bill evoke classic 80 s industrial and art house dance tracks. We’ve included the instrumental version for adventurous DJs who want play doubles. On the B-side are two versions of the track “Animals”. Version 1 explores the underbelly of NY with maniacal industrial rhythms and samples from Diamanda Galas and Travis Bickle (Robert DeNiro) in Taxi Driver.
