‘Relief’ EP draws influence on a spectrum of classic house sounds along with a ton of UK influence, with bass-driven breaks meeting rave ready piano stabs, garage drums, and luscious deep synth patterns all colliding on one killer 12”. Title track ‘Relief’ is full bassline wobble riding under ravey breakbeat house; Unite is ethereal, classic house music from the dreamworld of deep house past; ‘Wicked Dub’ rides the proto-garage vibes across an off-kilter UK house template; lastly, ‘Real Headz’ is proper house music flavours. Steeped in Detroit and New York influence with a hefty dose of London for good measure. A suitably classic closer to the EP.
