Based in Berlin, Slow Life is a multidisciplinary collective of Spanish and Italian creatives led by percussionist Sergio Moreira. His production first caught the ears of Phonica via a trilogy of highly impressive 12 inchs on the group’s Slow Life label, all of which were instant hits and flew out the shop. For this release, Moreira teams up with Xinner for three of the EP’s four tracks and the results are a spellbinding journey through deep, hypnotic Techno, broken beats and submerged ambience. The artwork is once again by acclaimed visual artist Jack Featherstone, the designer of a number of sleeves for Border Community, Electric Minds, Warm and of course, Phonica.
