SUN DANCE is the debut full release by Berlins RISING SUN, aka Steffen Laschinski. The EP features Rising Sun originals Sun Dance and Candy In My Pocket - two blissful tracks of old-style House-influenced minimalism infused with the heady atmosphere of early-90s innocence and joy - distant memories of simpler times - beach parties, bonfires, the sun rising over the sea at dawn… On the B-side, SVEN WEISEMANN (Mojuba, liebe*detail, a.r.t.less, Styrax Leaves) remixes Sun Dance, stretching it out into a beautiful shape-shifting epic. All tracks are mastered by masked Techno maverick REDSHAPE (Delsin, Present, Music Man, Styrax Leaves). Steffen Laschinski is currently best known as the label boss of influential labels Styrax Records, Styrax Leaves and Millions of Moments.
