For its 11th release, Ranges announces a special collaboration. Ohm is known as an Icelandic dub techno veteran with releases on labels such as Thule Records, Æ Recordings, Luck of Access, X/OZ, and Solid Groove. He teams up with El Choop, a UK-based artist with a distinctive approach to dub techno, who released on key labels like Echocord and ETUI.
The release is completed by a special Octal Industries remix, a project started in 2004 and known for its appearances on labels such as Octal and Thule records. The remix provides an atmospheric and groundbreaking reinterpretation with a moody and reminiscent touch.
The four tracks present a strong techno groove and specially crafted dub techno elements. Focused on evocative and energetic stems, these dub techno works are highly versatile and suitable for home listening, as well as conceptual and timeless dj sets.
