Super limited taster 12- from Detroit based vocalist extraordinaire Nikki O ! Recent collaborative efforts have brought Nikki back into the limelight, following her stunning mini LP on Moodymann s Mahogani Music back in 2005 Very little information available on this one, we know only that it s a one-off ahead of a wider released project - but safe to say it s a superb 12-, featuring two versions of new track Gotta Believe A thumpin House rub sits on the A Side, floating the distinctive Badu style delivery over a perfectly pitched groove On the flip, we re treated to an inspired rework of an underground boogie gem which suits the vocal like it was meant to be ! First come first served on this one folks - destined for big things !
