Shorty after his debut release ‘Erase Me’ with LUS records, we are proud to present MONOMINDED’s debut album: ‘Observer’. A unique listening experience birthed from the dark, deep and emotional sound he has been forging in his live sets for years. Sticking to a mostly analog and modular approach, MONOMINDED showcases his unique sound and approach to music in his debut album. Every single sound in this listening experience is meticulously thought out, engineered, and placed to create a certain atmosphere. The album gradually exposes a rising drive of emotion through a rhythmic and energetic darkness. This energy finally transitions into its fast paced form, revealing its ominous character in the second half of the album. With these scoring induced elements, MONOMINDED achieves to tell a complete and encapsulating story without any compromises made to the focus on dance floors. While the complex layering pushes through different musical phases for each track, the complete result still works in a club environment.
