For Remote Area’s 23rd release we welcome back production duo Makcim & Managemend with two deep and dirty quality grooves for the dancefloor.

Moscow born Makcim has been DJing since 1999 and is known for producing and playing deep, rhythmic, sexy, music. His music partner in Crime - Managemend (aka Roel van Otterdijk) is always on the hunt for brilliant loops of chunky, deep, soulful, minimalistic sounds but firmly believes that humans -not computers- give music the magic touch.

On Boyism you’ll find their thumping lurching beat-filled track with electric twitches and dark, steamy vocals including one snippet that says “take off your clothes” - so let us know where it’s being played.

Whereas Red Afternoon presents a jazz infused deep house groove with funky riffs, twisted vocals and abstract kicks – perfect for any time (or colour) of the day.
