Originally launched in 2002 by Schmoov! and home to releases by cult artists such as Ron Basejam, Hot Toddy, both of Crazy P fame as well Vincenzo, Rhythm Plate, Spirit Catcher and not to mention Lovebirds and their monster hit, I Want You In My Soul. After a hiatus, the label is back with a bang and teaming up once again with Lovebirds for another classic EP.

‘They Call Me’ is a funk-fuelled jam with bluesy vocals and horns, all sounding kinda Moodymann. Rolling keys, incredible live bass, and solid beats. Dancefloor winner.

‘Smooth & Fatfree’ is a dreamy downtempo groover with the fattest, squelchiest bass in town, and the smoothest keys this side of Berlin. Afterparty gold.

Finally ‘Bali Birds’, a slinky deep house groove with a twanging bassline nestling between mellow chords and strings, reminiscent of Super Discount vibes.[info sheet from distr.]
