Messalina records return with a fantastic new release. With the edit duties undertaken by Zurichs Balearic disco maestro Lexx, you know youre in for a treat and this release doesnt disappoint in any way, serving up an awesome collection of Balearic obscurities chipped and sliced to perfection. Side A kicks off with the brilliant Eminent Times, an excellent mash-up of Prince vs. The Who that has been in-demand since featuring on Lexx’s wonderful Sundance mix from 2006. Next up is So Different Here, a super cool extended edit of Rachel Sweets lost classic featuring that So Hot loop made famous by the Beatnuts. On the flip side we get Go, a beautifully deep rework of a lost track by Spargo, and finally the afrodisco groove Kumbayero, a super funky DJ friendly edit of a rare gem from 1976, previously only available on an impossible-to-find 7 inch
