The Critics and fans were raving about the band and even the legendary director Woody Allen fell for the Stockholm based duo and featured their hit single Waltz for Koop in his film Match Point. On their new album called Koop Islands they take us back in time on a enchanting journey into the era of swing orchestras and jazz crooners spiced with some exotic mento, calypso and chanson elements.The first 12 features three nice reworks done by some of Swedens finest producers in club sound. Markus Enochsons transforms I See A Different You into one of his trademark deep house tunes while Hird puts the vibraphone scented ballad Koop Island Blues into a completly new context by creating a slow rolling dub mix.
