The Fragments EP establishes Jenifa Mayanja as a serious artist unafraid of pushing boundaries, branching into the unexpected, quietly seducing the listener without beating down the senses into submission. While Jenifa Mayanja makes no declaration as to what genre she may be classified into, the music has no problem resting comfortably between deep house, future jazz, downtempo, detroit tech and electronica.
