James Ruskin is considered a veteran producer these days, after co-founding Blueprint records in 1996 with Richard Polson, and releasing a string of classics on Blueprint, Meta and Tresor labels to name but a few. 2009 saw Ruskin re-invent his sound, a far deeper bass driven aesthetic, with killer releases on Sandwell District, Token and the newly reformed Blueprint imprint.
