The 14th release of the Moscow-based label Sakskøbing comes from Ibrahim Alfa Jnr, an artist from London who has been producing musical cuts for quite a while now. The release is under one of Ibrahim’s personal aliases called Gameboy and this record is an ending to the trilogy which has started 15 years ago. The release follows Gameboy’s earlier sound with roaring synths which could easily be happening inside a handheld gaming device through Ibrahim’s beautiful brain and feel for the sound frequencies. The ending of the Gameboy saga - ‘I Was Never Here EP’ comes via Sakskøbing 15 years later and it is an emotional one. We might not hear another Gameboy EP ever again however we will hear a lot of Ibrahim’s music in the future and knowing this information warms the soul.
