Detroit Disco is a brand new label which combines Detroit Techno with some old and recognizable disco arpeggios. This first release on Detroit Disco is a two track 12 inch with the title track Hands Up by G. Hands Up by G is a rocking floor-filler based track on a catchy arpeggio melody that reminds a bit like Donna Summer. Filtering up and down giving you an optimal dj friendly old skool crowd pleaser. On the B side you will find The Economist Remix which has a more Neo Techno approach. With some devilish sequencing and filtering this sounds a little like some work The Economist did on Lessismorecordings 004 with the track Too Much but that is why we asked him to remix
