detroit disco is a brand new label which combines detroit techno with some old and recognizable disco arpeggios. this first release on detroit disco is a two track 12 inch with the title track hands up by g. hands up by g is a rocking floor-filler based track on a catchy arpeggio melody that reminds a bit like donna summer. filtering up and down giving you an optimal dj friendly old skool crowd pleaser. on the b side you will find the economist remix which has a more neo techno approach. with some devilish sequencing and filtering this sounds a little like some work the economist did on lessismorecordings 004 with the track too much but that is why we asked him to remix
