DJE Lean aka Confetti Bomb has worked for a very well respected London record store for 9 years. Hes also been a DJ & live performer since the mid - nineties and has put these combined experiences into creating a unique form of stripped down, deep techno. His Fever EP for London label Underl_ne was featured on the UKs BBC Radio One and received extensive DJ support at the highest level. He also features in the Juno Records 10th anniversary remix series with a peak time re work of Carl Craigs Detroit Experiment classic Think Twice. His debut EP for Autoreply features an appearance from one of his favourite producers Jerome Sydenham who takes time out from his hectic DJ schedule & Ibadan label duties to provide us with a truly timeless mix of 10 Second Detox. With its persistent rolling percussion & warm deep pads the mix satisfies all senses. On The AA Side we have 20 Second Detox - Big sounding hooky techno featuring crisp percussion & analog synths incorporating long warm beatless periods with bursts of pounding drums. This track teases you until the mid section where it goes off all guns blazing. Finaly Detox is a lofi housy workout which has been described to us as Troy Pierce meets Inner City...Sounds interesting huh? Drop the needle on it & make up your own mind.
