Maeve is the new label from man of the moment Mano Le Tough & his friend since the schoolyard The Drifter. In an age of endless releases and labels Maeve aims to release beautiful, special records that will last in the hearts of the public. Maeve 01 comes from the enigmatic Baikal. A Berlin-based friend of both Mano and The Drifter, his unreleased material inspired the pair to launch the label. Following huge responses worldwide in Manos DJ sets over the past few months, the duo are very proud to be releasing these tracks on their new imprint. The Drifter provides guest vocals on >Just You and Me<, which is a tripped out banger in the best possible meaning of the word. The other side of the record might actually prove to be the hit, >Why dont ya?< is a deep psychedelic masterpiece. The breakdown reaches a point that is both transcendent and captivating. There is clearly the work of a master.
